Educational Experience:
Teaching is a second career for Mr. Dashnaw. After spending twenty years in aerospace, Mr. Dashnaw began his teaching career in the First Grade at Newhall Elementary School as a long term substitute. He completed his student teaching experience filling another long term substitute position in the Third Grade. He specializes in teaching English Grammar, Writing Composition, and Literature; although Middle Ages European History is also very much a favorite subject to teach. Mr. Dashnaw considers Writing Composition to be the singularly most important subject he can teach his students.

He and his wife Kerry (also a career teacher) are members of Grace Community Church and members of the Faith Builders fellowship group.

Education:
Mr. Dashnaw holds a B.A. from The Master’s College, and a Professional Clear Teaching Credential from the state of California. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education.
