Educational Experience: Mrs. Mollica has been teaching first grade for twenty-four years and is currently in her ninth year of teaching at Grace Community School. She has participated in classes and workshops at ACSI anually. Mrs. Mollica and her husband Giuseppe have been married thirty-three years. They have three grown children and two grandchildren. Mrs. Mollica also enjoys her involvment in music, playing the french horn in the Grace Community Church orchestra and participating in a woodwind quintet.
Mrs. Mollica's primary goal for her class is to be used of the Holy Spirit to lead children to a deeper knowledge and understanding of God's word, to make His word real to them, and to stimulate in them the desire which will lead to a personal relationship with their Savior, Jesus Christ. At the same time she works hard to achieve all academic goals for first grade, preparing children to be useful in their world and ready for the next grade level. All teaching is done with an emphasis on the Biblical principles of developing obedience, self control, and disciplined study havits, putting others before themselves, working together as a class, and developing a teachable spirit and a love of learning.
Education:
Mrs. Mollica earned a Bachelor of Music degree from California State University Fullerton, with an emphasis in French horn.
