Basic Math

Description:
Students are assigned to Basic Math depending on how they scored on the junior high diagnostic math test; this test is given on the first day of school. The class is designed to sharpen skills and increase accuracy in the basic processes of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as well as in the more troublesome areas of fractions, decimals, and percentages. Basic Math offers students the opportunity to establish a strong foundation in math in order to prepare them for the more advanced topics they will study in their regular math classes.
